Raw materials are an important factor that affects the economic and technical indicators of ethylene production. For this reason, the Olefin Department has established an ethylene raw material optimization team to regularly study ethylene raw material optimization plans. They carefully analyzed the influence of different raw material structures on the yield and benefits of diene, and determined the best mixing ratio of multiple raw materials.
The supply gap of diene raw materials is the “congenital deficiency” of Tianjin Petrochemical Corporation. Especially in January this year, the supply gap of high-quality raw materials such as alkane-rich gas, ethylene-rich gas, and disproportionation tail gas has increased. The Olefin Department analyzed the status of existing raw materials and found that the n-alkane content of light naphtha increased by 1.02% from the previous month. They seized this favorable factor to increase the production of ethylene and propylene, promptly put into use nearly 900 tons of light naphtha, and successfully increased the yield of diene.
At the same time, the quality of other raw materials in January was also changing. The monthly average aromatic index value of diesel dropped by 1.3 compared with the previous month, which is also conducive to the improvement of diene yield. The olefin department decisively optimized the production process. By adjusting the cracking depth, increasing the outlet temperature of the cracking furnace, and optimizing the water-to-oil ratio and feed load and other process parameters, the product structure was changed, so that the volume of ethylene and propylene in the composition of the cracked gas at the outlet of the diesel cracking furnace The score increased by 2.90% and 0.83% all at once.
In order to further increase the yield of diene, the olefin department has also made great efforts to optimize production operations. According to the ethylene and propylene content in the bottom of the ethylene rectification tower and the propylene rectification tower, they adjusted the heating and reflux extraction operations of the two rectification towers, which effectively suppressed the loss of the two towers and reduced the loss of diene. According to the composition changes at the inlet and outlet of the C2 and C3 hydrogenation reactors, the hydrogen distribution amount is adjusted in time, which reduces the loss of diene.

The externally collected raw materials are sampled in each vehicle, and the mutual supply of raw materials is regularly analyzed to ensure that the quality of raw materials is qualified. The equipment operation of the raw material receipt and payment process is strictly controlled, and the materials are paid smoothly; The compressor system does not condense gas, avoids system fluctuations, and enables the refrigeration system to fully meet the needs of the separation users, which promotes the stable increase of the diene yield of the ethylene plant.
